New Quote Page
You use this page to create quotes. All quotes exist within a project, so you cannot create a quote without placing it into a project. You can think of a project as a container (folder) that holds related quotes and jobs to make it simpler to find, manage, and report on them. If an appropriate project does not exist, you can add it.
You can add task, purchase, and expense line items to a quote.
If the client to whom the quote is related does not have a client-specific rate card assigned to them, TrafficLIVE uses the default rate card. You can change this in the Rate Card field.
You can use a quote template to create your quote. The templates folder structure is shared with jobs and quotes. If the folder appears to be empty, it might not contain any quotes templates; that is, it might contain only job templates.
You can issue a quote in a foreign currency. Internally to your agency, the quote is retained in your TrafficLIVE base currency, and all reporting shows values in your base currency. Only the client quotation exists in the foreign currency. Thus, you can provide information to the client in their currency, while doing internal reporting and tracking in your currency.
